Description

The Savage Arms Axis 2 Compact delivers precision and ease of use in a scaled-down design optimized for comfort and control. Its heavy sporter barrel, crafted from carbon steel, improves barrel rigidity and maintains accuracy over longer shot strings. With a 1:9.25" twist rate, it pairs well with a wide range of bullet weights in the .243 Winchester caliber, making it suitable for varmint, predator, and medium game hunting. Savage’s adjustable AccuTrigger system allows for a customizable trigger pull between 2.5 and 6 pounds, promoting more accurate shooting.
