Illuminated versions of the Mark4 HD feature an electronic reticle level that flashes when the scope isn’t level to improve accuracy in long range shots as well as simplifying the mounting process. Illuminated Mark4 HD riflescopes also feature Motion Sensor Technology (MST) that extends battery life by automatically deactivating illuminated reticles after five minutes of inactivity and then reactivates instantly as soon as movement is detected.
